Mona Strasser is the President of the North Fort Myers Red Knight Foundation, Inc. As Vice President of Treasury Management with Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, and a longtime resident of North Fort Myers, she is a proud North Fort Myers Alumni (class of 1992). She has served on several community boards and committees in various aspects. Mona’s desire for serving the board is simple; she wants to assist in achieving success and recognition for teachers and students alike.
Machelle Shirk has been a Florida resident since 1985. Her three children have all attended schools in Lee County. Her son graduated from North Fort Myers High School in 2005 and her youngest daughter is a senior at North this year. Through over 30 years in the financial industry in Lee and Collier counties, she has held various positions at many institutions including Compliance, BSA, Security, Operations, Sales Coaching, Strategic Planning and Retail Management. Machelle Shirk is currently serving as a Business Banker for Southwest Florida at Achieva Credit Union. With a desire to give back to the community, she has been involved with many organizations such as the Cape Coral Downtown Redevelopment Board, Cape Coral Chamber, Greater Ft. Myers Chamber, Southwest Florida Seminole Club, Kiwanis, and St Matthew’s House in Collier County.

Steve Casolino is currently teaching in the Center for Corrective Action Office and has been involved in public education in both Collier and Lee counties. Mr. Casolino used to teach world history, AVID and E2020 classes. Mr.C assists with the Knightline newsletter, is the sponsor of the Class of 2017, and is a ticket taker for the PE department.

Dr. Terry L Tucker is an Optometric Physician who has practiced in North Fort Myers since 1985. He has a daughter who graduated North High School. He is a past president of the North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, two time past president of the NFTM Rotary Club and Southwest Florida Optometric Association. He is a past President of the Florida Optometric Association and services or has served many Lee Co. government and civic associations.
Doug McKeever is an Assistant Principal at North Ft. Myers High School. Doug began his career at North High in 1984 as a science/health teacher. He received his Masters of Science in Secondary Educational Counseling in 1988 from Northwestern State University. He later received his Educational Specialist degree in 2006 from NOVA Southeastern University. Since 2006, Doug has served as an Assistant Principal at the Alternative Learning Center, Lehigh Sr. High School and now at North Ft. Myers High School. During Doug’s 23 years at North High he has served as a Science/Health teacher, Counselor, Administrator, and has coached basketball, track, and volleyball. Both of Doug’s children (Douglas, 04 and Susie, 12) are proud North High graduates.
Ric Niekamp has lived in Cape Coral for 2 years and comes to us with a heart and desire for supporting youth. Ric is an AVP / Financial Center Manager for Fifth Third bank. He also is starting his second year as a committee member for the Lee County Financial Advisory Board. Ric lives in SW Cape with his wife Maria and daughter Sofia a Sophomore Cambridge ACIE student here at North.
Mr. Andrew Lampkins serves as President of the North Fort Myers Red Knight Foundation, Inc. Andrew moved to Florida in 2005 where he quickly became involved in the community serving on numerous community organizational boards and committees. Andrew works for Achieva Credit Union where he serves as Vice President of Market Development giving him strong perspective on long term development and growth strategies. His passion for the Red Knight Foundation started with seeing the success teachers were having in the classroom while there remains a great need to both recognition and support for their efforts.
