Update March 2022
The challenges installing the bricks honoring the Class of 2020 remain a continuing frustration. As a token of our gratitude for your patience and support we are offering each supporter their “keepsake brick” (the one that will not go into the ground). If you have purchased the keepsake brick you will be offered a refund. Details will be provided in an email. Partial Installation

What Are THE PROBLEMS THAT HAVE BEEN ENCOUNTERED?
There have been numerous factors contributing to the installation delays. To name a few, there were COVID restrictions on campus, the loss of volunteer installation team, brick order problem and most currently difficulty in finding contractors due to construction backlogs and rising costs.
WHAT IS THE CURRENT PLAN?
We have some room left in the existing installation. We have decided to install as many bricks as we can in this space, but unfortunately, cannot fit every brick. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to delay the installation of their brick. Too few volunteers and we will randomly choose the set of bricks to lay, too many volunteers we will randomly choose the extra bricks needed from the volunteer list.
For the additional space needed, the goal is to break the installation up into multiple tasks, rather than finding a single contractor. The Foundation needs help to do this, as neither Susan or any of our other board members have much experience in any of these areas.

How WILL IT BE DETERMINED WHICH BRICKS WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE EXISTING SPACE?
We have some room left in the existing installation. We have decided to install as many bricks as we can in this space, but unfortunately, cannot fit every brick. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to further delay the installation of their brick. Too few volunteers and we will have to randomly select the set of bricks to lay in this first batch, too many volunteers we will randomly choose the extra bricks to fill the space from the volunteer list.
